Do You Have a Replacement LED Board for My Kaper II L09-0110-NW Pancake Lights?

Question:

I have several Kaper II L09-0110-NW pancake lights in my travel trailer. The bulb on one recently failed. From what I can gather, L05-0101 is the appropriate replacement bulb, but they do not seem to be available anywhere. Do you know of an alternative replacement LED bulb that I can use? Thank you.

Unfortunately, we do not have a replacement LED board that will work with the Kaper II L09-0110-NW. The only option I was able to find for that specific board was through third-party listings like eBay.

These fixtures are not really designed for easy bulb replacement. They use a proprietary LED board and are generally intended to be replaced as a whole unit. I know that is not ideal, but it is fairly common with this style of light.

I recommend replacing the fixture with something like the Custer 12V LED RV Dome Light # LIL9L. Swapping out the entire light is actually pretty straightforward since it is just a simple two-wire connection. In comparison, replacing the internal LED board would be more difficult since it is soldered in place.

What kind of travel trailer are these lights in? Are you getting things all geared up for the next great adventure, where are you headed to this time?
