Can Thule Verse Bike Rack be Used with 2004 Toyota RAV4

Question:
Im needing to install a Thule Verse rack on my 2004 Toyota RAV4. I know any rack, even with a swing out, wont allow me to open my rear door to any meaningful degree. So Im just going to except that. But I do need to clear thr spare tire on my RAV4s door. So I will need a hitch extender. Which bolt on hitch and hitch extender would I need to accomplish this?

Hey Gregory, if you can take one quick measurement we can determine if the Thule Verse Bike Rack part # TH64SA can be used on your 2004 Toyota RAV4 without a hitch extender. Measure from the center of your hitch pin hole out to the furthest point out on the rear spare. If that distance is less than 7 inches you would not need an extender. If it is more let me know down below and I will let you know what extension would work best. Is your preference that it would be a swing out adapter that would allow for rear cargo area access?
