Looking For Replacement For 3,500 lb Dexter Electric Brake Axle For Snowmobile Trailer

Question:

Looking for assistance on a replacement axle for an enclosed snowmobile trailer. Details: 3500lb Dexter axle, tandem setup Has electric brakes 4 axle 96 hub face measurement 82 spring centers ok if replacement has loose centers, we can weld those on Looking for a suitable replacement bare axle.

Hey Eric, thanks for reaching out. We do stock 3,500 lb electric brake axles but the closest we have to what you need is a 95" hub face with 80" spring center part # e52SR. This could potentially work as long as the tire sitting 1/2" closer to the frame isn't a problem. Also, this axle has spring seats pre-welded at 80" so those would need to be cut off and new ones would need to be welded on at 80". We do have loose spring seats available as part # TRSS238. We don't carry any axles without spring seats. I know that's not exactly what you are looking for but it's our closest option.

Do you think a 95" axle would work? Clearance, wise you want at least 1" between the inside of the tire and the frame.

Also the hubs are 5 on 4-1/2" so please confirm this matches your wheels.
