Updated 03/18/2026 | Published 03/16/2026 >
Question:
Do I use the existing holes below my rubber that would have be used had I had original side rails? My car is a bare roof 2010 Ford Flex. Are the cross bars 60inch or us there additional overhang?

Hey Ladd! The Yakima SkyLine Roof Rack # Y54WB will fit the factory mounting points on your 2010 Ford Flex under the rubber strip or cover plates. This is designed for the fixed mounting points on vehicles like yours. The crossbars have overhand but the overall length is going to be 60".
What will you be using the roof rack for?

I'm going to be using the roof rack for kayaks and maybe a fishing rod box on the other side.
