Need to replace an old aqua magic star lite toilet water valve leaking and no longer available will aqua magic VI work Thanks matt

Hey Matt, thanks for reaching out. Your Starlite is an older, discontinued model, and the water valve for it was specific to that design. The Aqua Magic VI is a newer style toilet with a different water module and mounting design, so the valve itself won’t interchange. That means if the valve is shot, you’re looking at replacing the entire toilet, not just upgrading the valve.
The good news is the VI uses the same standard floor flange and 2-bolt mount, so it’ll bolt right down in place. You may have to tweak the water line connection slightly depending on how yours is routed, but nothing major. Honestly, once you’re at this point, most folks just replace the whole toilet anyway instead of chasing discontinued parts.
