Hi everyone, I installed a Curt hitch on a 2024 Chevy Equinox EV. The installation took me about 2 hours, but was able to be completed without needing a lift (was able to do in the garage/driveway). A second set of hands would be helpful! The hardest part was measuring for the cut-out for the underbody plastic panel, but it does not show from the exterior unless you're on the ground looking up. It is a very robust hitch and should be able to handle even a 3-bike hitch rack. Of note, some racks might necessitate an extension, as the Equinox bumper curves outward from the hitch location.

I fitted this hitch on my 2025 EQ EX. It went pretty well. The instructions for the trim cut are maybe a bit conservative. I sized it up and cut a bit less away. I drove the car onto RV leveling blocks at the rear axle to get the necessary space to work. It’s heavy! There was some grunting and swearing! The finished fit is very discreet and low. My bikes are very snug to the rear hatch but not touching. I use a piece of pipe foam insulation to protect the bumper when the rack is folded. Overall an easyish install and a solid end result.
