Hello Sandra, thanks for reaching out. Yes, it will! The etrailer Surge Brake Coupler Lock # e98887 has a 2-1/4" span and that is exactly what you will need for the Dexter DX6.6 Actuator. I grabbed one from our warehouse and measured it to verify this.

Are you needing a new actuator for your trailer? Or is it already equipped with a DX6.6?

Hi Jesse, Our boat trailer needed a complete brake job, actuator, brake lines and hubs. We keep our boat out on Vancouver Island so we can only work on it during fishing season (June-September) so we were buying everything before we went fishing. I opened the Dexter DX6.6 actuator and realized my little padlock on the latch would not work on the new actuator. I really liked the Infiniterule style lock but could not find one for the Dexter on your website. I phoned your store and was told you don't carry that model, anyway I found it on the Infiniterule website and bought the model #61181 which is made for the Dexter drop n go couplers. I tried t buy it from you guys but was told you cannot get that model. So I don't need the E98887. Thanks for your time Sandra

@SandraH Ok gotcha! Yes it doesn't look like we carry that particular Infiniterule lock. I'm glad to hear you found a lock that works for you though. Feel free to come back anytime you need anything! Fishing season will be here before you know it!
