Pulling a trailer on my motorcycle at 60mph. Loaded with 300pounds of gear tires only lasting 1000miles is this common with 12 inch tires.

Without knowing more about how the tires are wearing and what tires you have it's hard for me to say why your trailer tires are wearing like they are. It doesn't sound like they are overloaded so the first thing I would check is the tire pressure. Trailer tires should always be inflated to their max psi to ensure they get the max amount of mileage for the tires.

Another place I would look is at the suspension components of your trailer. Worn out suspension can cause tires to wear strange. You could jack up your trailer (use jackstands) and get underneath your trailer and see if you can find any movement in your suspension components.

I attached an FAQ on trailer tires for you to check out also.
