Can I Use Parts From A B&W Turnoverball on a 2005 Chevy and Put Them On a 2011?

Updated 03/09/2026 | Published 03/04/2026

Question:

I have a turnover gooseneck hitch from my 2005 Chevy Silverado 2500. Is there any way to make this work on my 2011 Chevy Silverado 2500

Hey, Shawn.

I completely understand wanting to reuse parts from your B&W Turnoverball, especially since they are great quality hitches.

I checked into it, and unfortunately the 2005 and 2011 Silverado 2500 use different center sections and mounting brackets, so the hitch components aren’t interchangeable between the two trucks.

For reference:
- 2005 uses center section # BWGNRC959 with install kit # BWGNRM1067
- 2011 uses center section # BWGNRC912 with install kit # BWGNRM1012

Because of those differences, there isn’t a way to reuse the 2005 components on your 2011.

What are you typically hauling on the gooseneck?
