Question:
I am looking for the bulbs that the trailer rental place used to have that has trailer light wires coming from them. You just put the bulb in your tail lights and have the wires extend from your tail light and plug your individual trailer light wires. Thanks

It sounds like you're speaking of a bulb and socket kit like part # RM-155 from Roadmaster. Installation involves drilling a 1 inch diameter hole into the backside of your taillight assemblies and inserting another bulb. A wiring harness would run under the vehicle to the front, where the harness ends in a 4-pole connector to plug into the trailer connector on the tow vehicle.
Keep in mind, not every vehicle will have enough room in the taillight assembly to allow for an additional bulb. If you'd care to reply with the year, make and model of your vehicle, I'd be happy to check compatibility for you.
I'll link you to an installation video that you might find helpful.
