We are looking to purchase a 2026 grand design reflection 100 series 24rl. It does not have a bumper but does have a factory trailer hitch. I dont know what type of frame it has. I think it might be i-beam. I dont know what type of attachments are needed. Do I need extensions? Will this bumper Interfere with the use of the factory trailer hitch? I dont need anything fancy. We use the bumper to hold our ground mats. These are unique. They are old dryer belts from a paper mill they use to dry pulp into paper. Theyre plastic but allow water thru and you can just sweep off any dirt. They are 8ft wide and never would fit in any storage compartment. We bungee them around the bumper. Will your bumper work for this rv?

Hi Dana; I don't have a way of knowing what kind of frame is on that Reflection but I'm sure the Mount-n-Lock Heavy-Haul'r # MNT49ZR can be installed. The AddaBumper Extension Plates # MNT45ZR aren't required, they make it t easier to mount the bumper and give you more room for bumper mounted accessories.
I also cannot tell you if it will interfere with the hitch or not. More than likely the hitch hangs down far enough that the bumper won't be in the way. Since you haven't bought it yet I'm assuming it is at a dealer. I would ask them what they think at the dealer since you will be right there at the trailer.
Any big trips planned once you pick up your new 5th wheel?
