Does this fit a 2025 Subaru Forester wilderness and do I have to cut in the bumper?

Hey Shey! Yes, the EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch # 306-X7391 will fit your 2025 Subaru Forester Wilderness. Trimming of the fascia as well as the heat shield is required for installation, see the attached photos. I also attached an installation video further down on this page so you can see where we made the cuts.

Take your time doing this job. Don't force anything. Call the ECOHITCH folks with any questions. I took a couple days to get the job done. Very pleased with this hitch. It is the only hitch shown to work with the "hands free" option on my 2025 Forester Premium.

Hi! We use this exact hitch on our 2023 Forester Wilderness and it has performed flawlessly. Any reputable installer should be able to attach it to your 2025 model with no problem. We used Hitch House in north Atlanta, and many U-Haul locations can do this work also. This was the perfect choice for hauling our teardrop camper. Highly recommended.
