Looking for Scissor Stabilizer Jacks for 2008 Jayco Jayfeather Export 17C

Published 02/16/2026

Question:

I have a 2008 Jayco Jayfeather Export 17C. One of the scissors stabilizer jacks in the rear is bent, and I would like to replace it this spring. I’m told it’s a pretty universal part, and easy to replace with just a couple bolts. But I see the ones you sell, in various different weight ratings, and I’ve read conflicting explanations of how to identify which one you need full GVWR, GVWR divided by two, divided by three, etc. Can you provide any more detail or information?

Hey Jonathan. I would be happy to help you find the right scissor jacks for your 2008 Jayco Jayfeather Export 17C. The easiest way to do it is to look at your current scissor jacks at the mounting bracket and look for a replacement set that has the same style of mounting bracket. This is because they are all basically one of a few different designs. For example the part # e52NR is a set that uses a very standard mounting bracket which is most likely what you are in need of. These are rated for 2,500 lbs of stabilizing capacity per jack and also come with SnapPads which help provide a more solid base for the jack on the ground when in use.

Email me back with a picture of your jacks if these don't look like what you have and I'll see what would be best option!
