Solution for Connecting Tow Bar Wiring 4-Way to 6-Way Round on Tow Vehicle

Question:

My wife hade a mechanic install the wireing for our new dingy, I talked to the guy about diodes and where to get the wiring kit, etc. When we got the vehicle back I didnt like what I saw. It appears that he ignored everything that I had said and did it his way To make this a little shorter, I now have a 4 way on the truck and am going too have to trace the wiring to see what he used for a ground and then try to figure out how a get a 6 way round. Have you got crystal ball that might be the way Is there anything you can tell me that might?

Hey Gary, an easy solution might be to just use the 6-way to 4-way adapter part # RM59DQ. I would most likely assume the wiring functions are correct on the 4-way so this adapter would allow you to simply plug in the connector and be on your way without any issue.
