Match the Existing Opening Before the Tear-Out Grows

Replacement jobs get expensive fast when the new base or walls land off by even a little and force changes to framing or plumbing. This kit pairs a 36" long x 24" wide shower pan with a surround formed to 36" wide x 23-3/4" deep x 66" tall, giving you fixed measurements for the pan and wall set before anything gets ordered. Once those numbers match your space, the pan and surround can go in as a full reset of the shower area and the opening is ready for the rest of the finish work.

Keep the Drain Where the Plumbing Already Sits

Drain location is where a simple swap can turn into a plumbing rebuild. This pan uses a left hand drain layout with a 2" drain hole, and the drain center sits 4" from the closest edge, which gives you exact numbers to check against the existing plumbing before installation starts. When those measurements line up, you can set the pan, connect a standard 2" drain strainer (sold separately), and move on to sealing the shower instead of relocating the drain.

Support the Floor Where Cracks Usually Start

Shower floors usually fail first when the base does not carry weight evenly across the bottom. This pan uses a pre-installed foam base that supports the bottom during installation, keeping the pan seated on the prepared surface instead of leaving unsupported spots underfoot. With the base supported correctly, the floor feels solid when you step in, turn around, and rinse off.

Contain Splash Before It Reaches the Wall Cavity

Water getting past the base or behind the wall panels can turn a shower replacement into a larger wall repair. The pan uses a 3-sided flange and an angled floor that routes water toward the drain, while the surround covers the wall area around the shower and pairs with the pan to form the enclosure. Once the edges are sealed properly during installation, water stays inside the shower footprint and the wall area behind it stays protected during use.

Finish the Space With Storage and Trim-to-Fit Walls

Wall kits often stall the job when fixture openings are not cut yet or there is nowhere to keep bottles off the floor after the install is done. This ABS surround can be drilled or adjusted on-site, mounts with pressure sensitive tape, ABS-compatible spray adhesive, or rivets (sold separately), and includes 3 molded shelves for shower items. Once the wall panels are trimmed, mounted, and sealed, the shower area looks finished, your soap and bottles have a place to go, and the space is ready for the rest of your bathroom update.
