Hello Michael,

Maybe you ran into the same issue I did. When I checked our fit guide for a 2013 GMC Sierra, it was only showing mud flaps as a fit option. That’s a glitch in our system, and I’m getting it corrected.

I reached out directly to our friends at Fas-Top, and they were able to confirm that the Fas-Top Traveler Pro Roll-Up Tonneau with Solo Truck Topper #FT93RV is the correct fit for your 2013 GMC Sierra 3500 with an 8-foot bed.

Fas-Top was out here a few months ago to show off this system, and I was really impressed with how easy it is to install and how quickly you can swap between the roll-up tonneau and the soft topper. It’s a great option if you want the flexibility of both without committing to a permanent setup, and everything stores cleanly when it’s not in use.

How long have you had the truck?

I have only owned this truck since November 2025. I have several older vehicles in my fleet which we try to keep in good shape. The nature of our business is that we need several vehicles to deliver mobile stages to shows on summer weekends. Most of these vehicles put on less than 10K miles per year. I am considering this combination topper/ tonneau cover for this 2013 because I hope to use it for a few years.

@MichaelL That does sound like a fun job. I’m pretty hands on myself and like to tinker with things. A 2013 though… I’d definitely hope you’d get more than just a few years out of it. It honestly feels like the newer ones break down more than the older ones ever did. I had to get rid of my 2004 last year and that was a sad day. I could actually work on it myself. Can’t really say the same about the new spaceship I’m driving around now. The Fas-Top really is a neat system. It sounds like it would be a great fit for your line of work, especially with how easy it is to swap from one setup to the other.
