I am an RV dealer for you guys, but searching for input on this unit. Also wondering how this unit works for longevity? trying to find a suitable AC init for a customer that isnt going to break the guys wallet. thanks

Advent Air air conditioning systems are made by ASA Electronics (Jensen, Voyager, iN-Command, etc.) and not Airxcel (Coleman-Mach). The replacement rooftop unit # ACDOM150 can easily replace the current Dometic unit but we'll need to determine how many pins the wire harness connector has first.
If you remove the cover of the air distribution box inside the trailer and look up you should see the wire harness that hands down and connects to a control box. If you do not see it you'll have to remove the shroud and possibly the metal cover under that to find the control box. If you have a 6-pin connector then you can just easily swap over to the # ACDOM150. If you have a 9-pin connector then you'll just need an adapter # ACCOLKIT in order to plug into the control box. I've attached a short video below where I'll show you this.
In our experience Advent Air has a been a reliable brand that doesn't inflate their pricing. They list that with regular maintenance their units should last 11-13 years.
