Hey Matthew, thank you for all the detailed information! I have another option for you but I checked with EcoHitch and they do not have anything that will fit your truck.
To add a front hitch to your 2022 Ram 1500 Longhorn Diesel, you'll want the Draw-Tite item # 65081. This hitch will only fit if your truck does not have the front tow hooks. It looks like some of the Longhorn models do. The Draw-Tite item # 65081 is the only option I have that's compatible with the diesel engine Ram 1500's. The tow hooks can not be removed to make the hitch fit.
If your truck does have the factory tow hooks, I recommend the Trailer Valet XL Trailer Dolly with Chain Drive item # TVXL2 if you have a 2" coupler or item # TV96FR if you have a 2-5/16" coupler. These are chain-driven, dual-traction wheel systems that you power with a hand crank or a cordless drill. They have a automatic brake that locks when the handle is released so you don't have to worry about losing your trailer. You'll be able to maneuver your trailer into tight spaces with one of these.
Does your Ram 1500 have tow hooks?

Thank you very much for the detailed reply. I appreciate the investigations and options you provided. Indeed my 22 Ram 1500 Longhorn does have tow hooks on the front thus it appears that i will not be able to install the potential front receiver noted above. Most of the Ram's luxury and offroad lineups do have tow hooks. I had hoped given that range there might have been an hoption. Your backup suggestion of an electric trailer dolly is excellent. Though i love the versatility of a front receiver (for bike rack, winch, extra cargo) my immediate need is for parking the trailer in a tight spot and the dolly will do just such Again thank you for help
