Roof Rack For A 2004 Acura TSX

Hi Manny!

We do have a couple options for custom fit roof racks that will fit your 2004 Acura TSX, but Rhino Rack does not have one available, unfortunately. That doesn't mean you are completely out of luck, but you would need to install a Rhino Rack set up a different way. I have the parts needed to do this listed below:

Rhino-Rack RTC-Style Roof Rack Tracks - Channel Mount - 55" Long - Qty 2 # RTC14
Rhino-Rack Quick Mount Legs for Vortex Aero Crossbars - RTC and RT Roof Rack Tracks - Qty 4 # RRRLT600

This would be a track system that would require drilling into your roof to get it installed, but it would allow you to use the bars you already have. If you don't want to do that, which I understand, you will need to go with a completely new set up. Something like the following part:

Inno Aero Roof Rack for Naked Roofs - Aluminum - Black - Qty 2 # IN73VV

This is custom fit for your TSX and clamps into the door jambs, which is what it sounds like you are wanting. This also has 54" long aero style crossbars, so you have plenty of room for things. If you aren't worried about the aero style bars though, we do have the Inno Square Bar Roof Rack for Naked Roofs - Steel - Black - Qty 2 # IN35QR that will save you some money. It has shorter 50" square bars, but does still have the custom fit door jamb clamps.

Hey Manny, how did things turn out with the roof rack setup for your Acura TSX? Did you go with the Rhino-Rack track system or one of the Inno options? Your update could make it easier for the next person deciding between those setups.

@LazerS I haven’t checked it yet. I only just need the base set for this to work. There wouldn’t be a way for me to get a base set even if it’s drilled in that would attach to the legs that I have, or is there one that would fit an 04 Accord that would work?

@MannyP I checked with Rhino Rack and Thule, and they don't have any options for the 04 Accord, unfortunately. It was a good idea, just wish I could have come back with better news. I also don't think using parts that are not designed for your vehicle is a wise choice. There would be a high probability of them failing and coming off while at highway speeds. That would be very bad.

@LazerS so I did a deep dive and I found that they did make it for the 04 Honda Accord Euro sedan which is the 04 Acura tsx in the US. The part is DK008. I’m having trouble finding it

@MannyP The DK008 looks to have been discontinued in mid to late 2022, which is likely why you are having trouble finding one. It looked like there was one available on a site when I searched "DK008 foot kit" on the Google, but it is in Australia and they don't look to ship to the US. If you happen to know anyone down under, you might still be in luck! They could buy one and then ship it to you. It was at Roof Rack City when I searched it.
