Can A 2016-2018 Buick Encore AWD Be Flat Towed With A Base Plate?

Question:
I am considering a purchace of a 2016 to 2018 Buick Encore AWD not GX. Buick states that the vehicle can be flat towed however I cannot find a baseplate for a non GX vehicle. Can you provide a solution for me?

Hey Glenn,
For all 3 years of the Buick Encore 2016-2018 we do not have a baseplate confirmed to fit that vehicle. That tells me it cannot be flat towed, or is not recommended. What we offer for any towing of that vehicle is going to be a Roadmaster tow dolly # RM-2050-1. Chances are Buick categorizes dinghy towing as flat towing and that is what they meant.
