Hello John,

Making the switch over to the SmartPlug is a smart idea =)

On the fitment side, yes, the SmartPlug # SM67FR inlet will fit your trailer. SmartPlug inlets are designed specifically to replace the standard RV twist-lock shore power inlet and use the same general mounting location on the side of the RV. It’s a very straightforward swap and a really solid upgrade in terms of safety, connection strength, and heat reduction.

The cord you will want to pair it with is the SmartPlug Angled RV Power Cord - 30 Amp - 30' # SM22YB. This cord has an angled end at the campground pedestal, which helps reduce strain and keeps the cord from sticking straight out where it can get bumped or stressed.

SmartPlug does not currently offer a 90-degree female cord end for the RV side that can be added to an existing cord. All SmartPlug RV connectors are straight at the inlet. That said, the SmartPlug design already provides excellent strain relief and a very secure connection, so most customers find a right-angle RV-side connector isn’t necessary once everything is installed.

Where did you take the camper for it's first big outing? And what is the trip you are looking most forward to in 2026?

@JohnR Very cool! I have not gone shooting many times, but when I have I am amazed on how well my aim is. Sounds like quite the trip for this year, the trunks of the Sequoias are amazing! - Safe Travels =)
