Hey Jason, could I get more info from you on the axles of your Sundowner 4000AP? If I can get the axle brand I can see if we have a lift kit for it. Hopefully you have Dexter Torflex torsion axles as we don't have Lippert torsion lift kits any longer.
I was able to determine that the axles are 4k rated from the Sundowner website so if they are Dexter you'd want the part # K71-707-02.

Hi Jason, I put the lift kit on my 23ft lance 2019, I did it myself doing one side at a time using Jack stands and being safe you don’t have to drop the axles completely down just enough room to tap the lift part in . The dealer would have charged about $1200 or more, I wish I would’ve made a YouTube video now because there wasn’t alot of information on it but there is now I believe. Work smart and hard is the recipe.

I needed a 2015 EquiSpirit 2-horse gooseneck lifted enough to safely clear my too-tall 2018 F-250 bed. This lift kit was recommended by the trailer manufacturer. The approx 2 3/4” lift provided the additional bed rail clearance I needed while allowing the trailer to ride level and getting the rear end high enough to avoided scraping uneven driveways. I had it installed at my local shop for under $400. I’m very happy with how it tows and I have peace of mind I won’t crush my tailgate or scrape the rear in normal driving. And I got GREAT assistance from Kate at eTrailer!

Installed on my 2017 livin lite with dual torsion axles. Simple install at home, one side at a time. It is still on there with no issues so far. Just make sure your brake wires have enough slack to clear the extra height. I installed them so my tires would clear the fenders during max articulation (compression)of the axles. I take it off pavement quite a bit.

The 2-1/2 inch trailer ground clearance gain was noticeably much better--with no change in trailer towing handling. It was an easy DIY project. Well worth the effort.

I installed the lift kit on my Lance trailer with due axle Dexters #3500. I was surprised at the difference that a little over 21/2" extra height made. No more clearance problems or bottoming out and hitting the rear stabilizer jacks, and if you have the proper jacks and jack stands they are not to difficult to install.
