Question:

My Furrion microwave FMSMO9 has stopped working. Can I replace it with a FMSML that includes a convection oven? The compartment is 24 wide X 17 high X 16 deep.

Hi Jerry; are you referring to the Furrion Built-In RV Convection Microwave and Air Fryer # FR82TD? This will fit in your existing space and work as a replacement. The cutout requirement is 14-5/8" tall x 21-7/16" wide x 16-1/8" deep.

The actual depth of the microwave is 15-1/8" so it will still fit. The 1/8" difference compared to your 16" measurement won't be an issue. If you want the black trim kit # FR22TD it is available separately.

Hey Jerry, how did the fit turn out with the Furrion convection microwave in your existing compartment? It sounds like the size difference was small enough to work. Your feedback could help others looking to upgrade from the same model.

@RobinH It swapped in without a problem. I was a bit concerned about the heat from the convection oven in the enclosed area, so we ran it without the face plate so I could feel the outside of the unit while it was working. It was barely warm.
