Will The Curt Front Hitch C87FR Fit A 2024 Ram 1500 Bighorn With Active Air Dam?

Hi, Im after a front hitch mount for my 2024 Ram 1500 Bighorn 4x4 with a Hemi. Does this work on a 2024 with the active air dam? Thanks

The Curt Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - 2" # C87FR will indeed work with the active air dam on your 2024 Ram 1500 Bighorn. I included a picture where you can actually see that (look in the lower left corner). So you are good to go!

The hitch does not interfere with the active air dam The support is high above the shaft One thing to consider you will need to cut out the front stationary air deflector ( the one connected to the bottom of the bumper) for the hitch tube to fit also the hitch pin hole will be behind the deflector meaning you will need to crawl under the truck to place your pin through I cut a slot on each side of the hitch in the deflector so I can install the pin without crawling under the truck. My truck is a 2 wheel drive and low to the ground I don’t see the cut outs , you have a 4 wheeler that sets up higher you need to consider the cut outs may show and if that is acceptable to you. Note the cutouts do not cause it to whistle or flap in the wind

Just to follow up I use the from hitch for my canoe loader, bike rack and have a screw pin D shackle in case I get stuck , you will have to remove your front tow hooks for the hitch needs that space.
