Question:
Can you give me recommendations for wiring harness, ball mount, lock, and ball to tow a boat for salt water usage? I do not want to splice any wires in my car b/c it voids my warranty. Thanks and Im sorry for emailing twice with similar question.

For a 2010 Honda Pilot, you would use T-One Wiring harness, part # 118491. There is no cutting or splicing involved, it just connects to the factory tail light connectors.
With exposure to salt-water, I would stick with aluminum or stainless steel for your other products as they will hold up the best. I assume you have a 2 inch hitch receiver, so I would use part # e98882. It is a stainless steel hitch lock with a limited lifetime warranty.
The drawbar and ball you need will depend on the trailer height and coupler size. I have included a page that will show you how to determine what size ball mount you need. I would choose an aluminum ball mount, probably some thing like part # C74WR that features a built-in scale. I will include a link to all our 2 inch Aluminum ball mounts so you can find the one that will fit once you measure your coupler and hitch.
Once you have selected a ball mount, you will need to select a ball. The ball diameter is determined by the coupler on the trailer. You will also need to find out what shank diameter your ball mount will accept. The hole for the ball will either be 3/4 or 1 inch. I imagine it will be a 2 inch ball diameter, and again, I would use stainless steel, like part # SC23-C. I have included a help page on selecting a hitch ball.
If you write back with the height measurements of your trailer and hitch as outlined in the page below, and what size ball the coupler uses, I can recommend specific parts that will work for you.
