It sure will Paris. I checked with DK2 and to attach a snowplow with a 2 point connection like the 84" Snowbear snow plow to your 1998 Dodge Ram, you'll need the Custom Mounting Brackets for Detail K2 Snowplows item # K284309. This bracket kit comes with all necessary installation hardware.

Please note you will lose your factory tow hooks when you install the item # K284309 and it does not fit the Sport models.

What region are you in and how much snow are you expecting to get this year?

@Paris It's because of the bumper. The frame is the same so you'll be good with the Custom Mounting Brackets for Detail K2 Snowplows item # K284309.

I have a brush guard mounted as well I know that might need to come off but I read the same for the brush guard and sport models I took the bumper off and put a regular second gen bumper
