Question:
I have the Thule Flat Top ski/snowboard rack 6 and one of the brackets is broken. I see you have a replacement mounting kit 7533998 but unfortunately, I have to order all four pieces AND nuts when really I just need one replacement bracket. I will be mounting on to Thule Subaru crossbars touring that are the newer AeroBlade style. Does that mean I can use a different mounting system onto this rack?

Hey Mia, thanks for the picture. The Mounting Kit for Thule Flat Top Rooftop Ski and Snowboard Racks item # 7533998 is going to be the only option we have to replace the mounting bracket on your Thule Flat Top Rack. These are not sold individually only in the four pack. They will be compatible with the Thule AeroBlade crossbars Subaru sells.
Did you break that one bracket or are you just missing the bottom piece?

I’m missing the bottom piece. It’s unfortunate I have to buy a whole set; I really don’t like the replacement brackets compared to the ones I have, how can you keep someone from just removing them from your car with some tools? It would be nice to create something that can slide right onto the Aeroblade rails that can connect to the ski rack, like the xadapt2 kit. Super easy to attach.
