Hey Ryan. Since your 2011 Ram 3500 came with the factory brake controller( ITBM), you'll want the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller w/ Custom Harness item # TK63UR. This kit comes with the Prodigy P3 you referenced and a custom fit wiring harness. The harness will plug into the connector that goes to your factory brake controller.
Please note that disconnecting the factory brake controller( ITBM) will turn on a warning light. In order to disconnect the ITBM and not get the warning lamp, your local Dodge dealer will have to reconfigure the TIPM (Totally Integrated Power Module), of the truck.
Did your factory brake controller go out or are you just wanting to upgrade?

Hey Ryan, how did things go with the Prodigy P3 and custom harness on your Ram? Did the dealer reconfigure the TIPM so you could remove the factory controller without the warning light? Your update could make it easier for others doing the same upgrade.
