Fuel Tank for 1999 Ford F-350 That Can Plumb Inline with Fuel Lines

Updated 12/03/2025 | Published 11/29/2025

Question:

1999 F350 diesel, long bed, Ext. Cab, SRW Looking for an Auxiliary Tank, do you have a Capacity tank sized between the 39 gal and 100 gal I see on your web site. I am really looking for something in the 70-75 gallon range that plumbs in-line, AND fits under a Tonneau cover. Thanks, Richard S.

Hey Richard, with the DeeZee Connector kit part # DZ97960 you can plumb a transfer tank like the Deezee part # DZ91750 inline with the fuel lines of your 1999 Ford F-350. This is a 55 gallon tank like you are looking for as well and would fit under a tonneau cover as well.

Hi Jameson C, Appreciate the quick reply, unfortunately the tank you suggest is 24" tall, and the Max height for the tonneau cover I have us 19.5". Would encourage new design in the 75 gal Auxiliary rectangular tank that fits 18-19" max height ! (Diesel for sure, and maybe Gas !) Thanks again, Richard S.

@RichardS The part # DZ92556N is only 19 inches tall and is a fit for your truck. It is a different style though.

@JamesonC Thanks again for your immediate response ! The tank you reference, DZ92556N shows to be 19" tall, but I do not think that includes the height of the Fill Cap. I found a very similar tank, DZ91752X, that shows to be 19" tall, but then it has these words in the description: " Specs: Dimensions: 59-1/2" long x 9" wide x 19" tall Cap adds another 3-1/2" to overall height " So, just trying to get the most accurate information possible. Also, this is only 39 gal, something in the 75 gallon range would be awesome when towing our RV.

@RichardS You're right. I wish we had something that covered everything you need but at this time we do not.
