Question:
I have an Atwood model DCLP 1522 furnace in my Lance camper. It is a discontinued two speed furnace that requires a special thermostat that is also no longer available. The thermostat is now dead so I am looking to change to a single speed furnace with a simple thermostat. I noticed you have a 20,000 btu unit with exterior access door which is similar to what I currently have. Is this the smallest btu propane furnace available? I am currently investing the actual ability to do the change as access is pretty much non -existent. Also, what thermostat would you recommend for a single speed thermostat? Thanks!

Hey Greg, yes our Dometic RV Furnace part # DMC86RR is our lowest BTU rated RV furnace. Thankfully nearly all RV furnaces are made to the same size which makes swapping them easier.
For a thermostat we have the Dometic Digital part # DMC84RR which is a furnace only style thermostat that would work great.
