Kit to Convert Pop and Lock Tailgate Lock PL5400 to a Power Locking Tailgate

Question:
I have a 2006 Tacoma TRD Sport double cab long bed. I already have a Pop and Lock PL5400 that was purchased from tailgatecamera with a pre-installed backup camera as my 2006 tacoma did not come with one and i wanted to install one with my new Sony XAV9500ES head unit. Is this the correct product to add power locking with my key fob?

Hey Sean, yes the Pop & Lock Custom Tailgate Lock Conversion Kit # PAL8525 is the correct kit to use with the PL5400 that you have. This will convert it to a power lock setup like you are looking for.
