Recommended Quietest Roof Rack for a 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee

Hello, I recently bought a 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee Altitude when I drove it off the lot, I was extremely surprised by the high noise level of the roof rack that had been installed in the car. At 30 mph and above, it starts whistling like a pressure cooker or tea kettle. Its just awful. To top off pun intended my autistic son finds the noise truly distressing. Now the dealer is trying to help me source a replacement but its a long process with no guarantee of success. Id like to find one that is silent. Is there such a thing? Have you heard this complaint before? What is the most silent roof rack you have available for the 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee *Altitude? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hey Rodrigo, congrats on the new Jeep. There's no such thing as a silent or quiet roof rack but Thule's options are known for being the least annoying. When you install a fairing like item # TH22WV it helps to deflect the wind so it goes above your roof rack not through it.
Another thing that helps with sounds is installing shorter crossbars that don't hang over the sides of the mounting legs or rails.
If your 2020 Grand Cherokee has the factory roof rails you can use the Thule WingBar Edge Roof Rack for Fixed Mounting Points item # TH38WG with the item # TH72WV fairing.
If you do not have any factory rails on your roof you can install the Thule WingBar Edge Roof Rack item # TH89VA and the item # TH82WV fairing.
