Recommended Rhino Rack Roof Rack for a 2025 Subaru Impreza

Updated 10/29/2025 | Published 10/22/2025

Question:

I have a set of Rhino roof racks for my 2014 Mazda 3 that mount to the fixed points on the roof. The set consisted of 49.5 long Vortex Aero bars, a 2500 Leg Kit, M311 plastic feet, and 473 rubber pads. Can I re-mount this system on my 2025 Subaru Impreza Sport if I set things to the proper width for this new car? I suspect I may need to carve away some of the rubber pads to make clearance for the small hinged access panels the Subaru has over fixed mounting points on the roof. Please let me know if this is possible. Might I need some additional parts? What else would I need to know? Thank you

Hey Scott, congrats on the new car. I checked with Rhino-Rack and you will be able to reuse your crossbars and leg kit. They recommend the 49" Long item # RRVA126B so yours item will definitely work. The Rhino-Rack 2500 Series Legs for Vortex Aero Crossbars item # RRRLKVA are the same ones you bought back in 2016.

The only new parts you'll need are the Custom DK Fit Kit for 4 Rhino-Rack 2500 Series Roof Rack Legs item # DK285. These attach to those fixed mounting points you were talking about. The pads are taller and have different sized bolts than your current item # DK410 has.

What do you use your roof rack for?
