Can Same Hanger be Used for 3.5K Axle Upgraded to 5.2K Axle?

Question:
IF UP GRADING FROM A 3,500 LB AXEL TO A 5,200 LB ,CAN I STILL USE THE SAME HANGER POSITION WHIT OUT HAVING TO MOVE ANY OF THEM.. AND SINCE WHERE ALSO UPGRADING FROM A 15inch wheel to a 16inch , WHAT ARE THE Clerance FOR THE TIRE NEEDED.. thanks

Hey Andre!
You can still use the same hanger positions as long as your leaf springs from your 3.5K axle are the same dimensions as your 5.2K axle. What is the center eye to center eye length of your 3.5K leaf spring without any weight on it?
For tires, you're looking at 4" of head clearance (to account for suspension travel) and 2" of clearance between the sidewall and frame of your trailer. What tire size are you looking to bump up to?
