Is Maxxis ST225/75R15 Tire w/ 15" Wheel 6 on 5-1/2 MXS99FR Fine For 1/2" Studs On Hubs?

Question:
Is the MXS99FR compatible with 1/2-inch studs?

Expert Reply:
Yes, Tony, you’re good to go. This wheel included in # MXS99FR uses 1/2-20 conical-seat lug nuts, which are standard on most (not all) trailer axle/hub setups. But luckily this one does indeed fit your setup as long as you have the 6 on 5-1/2" bolt pattern and need the 225/75R15 tire size.
These come pre-mounted and already balanced with internal balancing beads. Just torque to 90–100 ft-lbs and recheck after 50–100 miles of towing.
Do you already use a torque wrench for your trailer or vehicle maintenance?
