What is the material making up the stem and base of the strainer basket? Is it ALL metal?

Hey Dennis. With the exception of the rubber stopper, the Replacement Strainer Basket for LaSalle Bristol RV Kitchen Sink Drains item # 34465JNBSK10081 is made of stainless steel. It measures 3" diameter x 2-1/8" tall.

What kind of sink do you have?

@JerredH - Received our strainer order today, and sorry to say, the stem and base are plastic same as the OEM strainers that failed. Clearly plastic covered with chrome; Not only do these parts sound like plastic when you tap them, you can see the mold lines running lengthwise down both sides of the parts. Definitely not an upgrade, but the form and function are correct. These will work for a few years before the plastic parts deteriorate and fail as with the OEM strainers we replaced. Review was posted.
