What diameter is the rubber stopper? All other dimensions look ok.

I went out to our warehouse and measured the rubber grommet piece on the Replacement Strainer Basket for LaSalle Bristol RV Kitchen Sink Drains # 34465JNBSK10081 and measured a diameter of 1.8" (4.57 cm).

What is the diameter of the rubber gasket on the narrow side? The 3 inch metal strainer is the right size. But, where the rubber gasket would fit the drain is 1.5 inches. This strainer may work, if the gasket is small enough on the narrow side. We have a 20 year old Newmar motor home. I have no idea what brand the sink drain is. On the plastic where the strainer fits it says “1 1/2 inch P tubular”. And, by my measurement it is 1.5 inches. Thanks in advance for your reply. Jerry
