Recommended Jeep Style Fenders for a Single Axle Trailer

Updated 10/15/2025 | Published 10/07/2025

Question:

I have a home built utility trailer that uses a Jeep style fender. I need to replace one of them. The existing fender measures 18inch across the top in the flat. While I assume I can trim the leg length to match, the legs are currently 15inch long and 34inch tip to tip at the bottom. If my math is correct on this trapezoid, this is approx 60*/120* degrees for the legs. If a more detailed drawing is available that would be helpful or provide the angle of the legs please.

Hey Dan. We've got three options that are close to your dimensions for a Jeep style fender. I have listed them below:

Diamon Plate Single Axle Trailer Fender 13" to 15" Wheels item # CE18041ATB - 36" long x 10" wide x 19-1/4" tall

Ribbed Steel Single Axle Jeep Style Trailer Fender - 13" to 15" Wheels item # HP76FR - 36" long x 10" wide x 19-1/4" tall

etrailer Single Axle Jeep Style Trailer Fender w/ back plate - 13" to 15" Wheels item # HP55RR - 36" long x 10" wide x 19-1/4" tall

How long is the top flat portion on your trailer fender? There's no better detailed drawings but if you can leave that information where it says Reply to Jerred H, I can go measure those fenders and see if they match up.

@DanW Thanks for the measurement! I went down to the warehouse and measured all of ours. The flat part of the top ranges from 21"-22" depending on where you measure with the curve.
