How Do The etrailer Single Axle Trailer Fenders Install?
Updated 10/27/2025 | Published 03/24/2025 >
Question:
Are these fenders meant to be bolted on from the top of the steps onto a bracket? Are they thick enough on the top of the bottom steps to do this? I drew up a picture of where I would be putting screws or bolts through with red dots. Thank you!

Hello JT, thanks for reaching out. You are on the right track with your drawing. The etrailer Single Axle Trailer Fender # HP33RR are designed to be bolted on from the top of the step onto a bracket.
These specific etrailer brand fenders are a new product for us, so sadly we do not have any pictures showing examples of installation yet. I did find some pictures of similar fenders to show how they are typically installed.
I hope this helps. Leave a reply below with any comments or questions and I will get back to you.

Hey JT, how did things go with mounting the single axle trailer fender onto the bracket from the top step? Your update could make it easier for others figuring out the same setup.
