Hey, Sam!
Thanks for sharing the info about your trailer!
We’ve got a few wheel and tire options in your same 145/12 size that are rated for highway speeds up to 80 mph. One of them is part # KE96EV, a solid choice if you want to stick with your current size. The tire is also mounted on an aluminum rim.
Now, about moving up to a 13" tire, you can do that, but you’ll want to double check your clearance first. Your current tires have an overall diameter of about 20.5", while the smallest 13" option, the 175/80-13, measures 24.1" in diameter. That means it’ll sit about 2" closer to your fender.
To avoid rubbing, you’ll need at least 2" of space between the top of the tire and the fender. The 13" tire is also a bit wider, 7" compared to your current 4.9". So make sure you’ve got enough room on the sides, too.
If everything checks out clearance-wise, you can go with part # AM31994. I’ve also included a link to our trailer tire size chart, which breaks down all the specs so you can compare and see what fits best. Let me know if you think of any other questions!

Hey Sam, how did things go with checking the clearance for those 13-inch tires on your trailer? Were you able to find enough space around the fenders for the larger size? Your update could make it easier for others thinking about the same upgrade.
