Hey there Mike. The adjustable 6" drop pintle hitch from Weigh Safe # WS52ER is rated for a 2,200-lb tongue weight on its 2.5 inch shank. That’s plenty for 2.5" receivers, making it ideal for heavy equipment or big commercial trailers. It also has max trailer weight rating of 22,000 lbs, has a built-in tongue weight scale, and can easily swap between pintle or 2" ball or 2-5/16" ball with the pull of a pin.
What kind of loads are you planning to run at that weight?
