Are these solar walkway lights bright enough to actually light a path, or are they more decorative?

Great question, Joe. The Performance Tool LED Solar Walkway Lights put out a soft glow that’s meant for accenting and marking a walkway, not for flood-style brightness. Think of them like step markers - they’ll give you enough light to see the edges of a path or garden, but not replace a porch light. The Cobblestone item # PT69RR and Sandstone item # PT79RR both shine at about the same level, so you can choose based on which finish matches your space better.
