Updated 10/03/2025 | Published 09/18/2025

Question:

Hey, I am trying to find a direct replacement for a Dometic A/C MFG641815C751C0 Product 936000718 Serial 32923011 13500 BTU with either a 13500 BTU or 15000 BTU. Can you help?

Hello Ronnie,

Happy to help make sure we get you the right air conditioner set-up.

This year, RV air conditioners were switched from the old R410a refrigerant to the new R32. The R32 is more efficient, making it a win-win for both the environment and the consumer. The drawback is that R410a parts are not compatible with R32 parts, so you’ll need a complete new set-up.

If you’d like to stay with the 13,500 BTU size like your current Dometic Penguin II, the Furrion Chill HE RV Air Conditioner System - Single Zone - 13,500 Btu - LED - Black # FR75PV (white # FR85PV) would be a great option. It’s a single zone system that works with both ducted and ductless installations.

For a 15,000 BTU, you will want # FR45PV for black, and # FR83TD for white.

I’ve also attached a couple of review videos you can check out.

So I know what kind of AC you have, but what kind of camper is this on? Been on any good adventures this year? Where did you go, what did you see?

Hey Kate, Thanks for your reply. The camper is a Palomino Columbus 365rl. It has a multi-zone set-up with the Dometic CCC2 controller. Is there an option for this with a direct plug and play replacement?
