How to Find a Switched Ignition Source for a MouseBlocker Classic Electronic Rodent Deterrent

Can you give more detail as to where to locate a switched ignition source under the hoods of these two vehicles, for the purpose of connecting the gray wire from the Mouse Blocker Classic: 2019 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid 2024 Ford Maverick XLT Hybrid

Hey Bruce. You'll want to connect the grey wire on the MouseBlocker Classic Electronic Rodent Deterrent item # MB44FR to something that's only one when your RAV4 or Maverick are running. Check the fuse boxes for a radio, USB, tail light circuit. Something along those lines and see if there's a way to attach the clamp to one of those circuits.
Those hybrids can be pretty complicated electrically. If you're unsure you can always go to the product page of the MouseBlocker item # MB44FR you purchased and scroll down below the pics on the left side you'll see a box that says, Locate installers near me. Go ahead and click on it and it will take you to a page where you'll be able to enter your zip code. Once you do this you'll be connected to our network of reputable installers in your area.
