Can The Andersen Ultimate Connection Be Flipped To Face The Cab?

Question:
I just purchased a 2026 GMC 2500 AT4X standard bed which is 610. The gooseneck ball sits at rear of axle, so if Anderson hitch is installed towards tailgate it is sitting to far back in my opinion off the axle. If I turn the hitch around it sits center of axle. Will this be ok to use it this way? Im open for ideas.

Hey Darrell,
Yes, you can turn the Andersen Ultimate # AM3200 towards the cab to put that pin weight over more of the rear axle like you are describing. Doing that is going to create a smoother ride and better support. So yes, you can turn it the other way towards the cab. It may be good to have it towards the tailgate if you were to be making a sharp turn just for cab clearance.
