I have an older 5th wheel. No 12v wire. can i use my existing thermostat that runs on 2 AA batteries? im not sure on how to go about getting a 12v wire ran. Im using a Honeywell TH5110D1006/U digital t-stat that i updated from the old digital colman tstat.

Hey Curtis, with the RV AC units we generally have to recommend you use the same brands wall thermostat as that's only thermostat we can for sure confirm is going to work. In general though we have found that a lot of other brand thermostats will work but it's not always easy to predict when they will.
