Question:
Can I use the AL33DQ on a flat-lip 2inch utility trailer coupler? not quite sure what I have
asked by: Dustin
Expert Reply:
Dustin, no, not usually since the shapes of those couplers and locks are different. The # AL33DQ is only for yoke-style. For a 2 inch flat-lip, you’d want the # AL26DQ instead. Both locks are equally strong, with the same radial fins and anti-drill face, but you’ll need the right geometry for a snug fit.
Do you know which latch style yours is? If not, send a pic to this email and I'll check it out for you. Or you can look at this very high tech ai image on this page if that helps at all haha.
