Question:
Will the Fogatti Quiet LP Gas Furnace FG65FR white door run off the same 12V system as my old Atwood AFMD30121, or do I need to upgrade my power center?

Expert Reply:
Nathan, you’ll be fine. The # FG65FR (with white door) runs on 12V just like your Atwood did, and its average draw is under 8 amps. As long as your converter can comfortably put out 15–20 amps for the furnace plus lights and other 12V loads, you won’t need to upgrade your power center. If your current system is maxed out, you could step up to a higher rated power center/converter. That way the furnace cycles won’t dim your lights. Just let me know and we can find some options for you.
Side note, this furnace is also available with a black door # FG45FR.
