Can the LED Fabric Light Kit with Switch/Plate be Cut for a 20 Foot Solera RV Awning

Question:
I didnt see a 20 foot Solera LED light kit. Am I able to buy this 21 foot one and cut a foot off of it to make it work?

The LED Fabric Light Kit with Switch/Plate for Solera RV Awning - 21' Long # LC674283 can but cut to fit your 20' Solera RV awning. According to Lippert, this LED kit is for 16'-21' awnings and is designed to be cut down to fit depending on what length you have.
