I have a 2015 BMW428i convertible and I cannot find a 2 inch TW 500lb trailer hitch.

Hey George. I checked with our vendors and the only 2" hitch for a 2015 BMW 428i convertible is the Stealth Hitches Hidden Rack Receiver item # SH84VR. This hitch tops out at a 350 lbs tongue weight capacity which is higher than most convertibles. I recommend verifying what your convertible model BMW's actual tongue weight capacity is in your owner's manual and going off of that.

The Stealth Hitches item # SH84VR is just for using accessories like bike racks and cargo carriers. If you're planning on towing a trailer you'll also need the Towing Kit w/ Ball Mount and Trailer Wiring item # 391CONVA7.

What do you need a 500 lbs tongue weight for?

Is the hitch at least 3 3/8" deep past the hitch pin hole of the hitch receiver.

@George The hitch pin hole on the accessory receiver sits 1/2" inside of the edge of the rear bumper. With the ball mount installed the center of the hitch ball is right at 3" from the edge of the bumper.

@JerredH I am looking for the dimensions of the accessory receiver itself, especially the distance of btw the hitch pin hole and the rear of the accessory receiver.
